Reinforced soil longitudinal structures (RSS)
Mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) structures combine controlled backfill with a selection of geosynthetic or steel soil reinforcements that are attached to a choice of flexible facing elements to form a solid river training longitudinal structure such as river walls supporting transport infrastuctures, quay walls or levees. Precast concrete retaining walls
In addition to RSS retaining wall solutions, Terre Armée offers T-Wall®, an articulating precast concrete modular wall solution, and TechWall™, a full-height precast concrete counterfort retaining wall solution. Both of these solutions are highly suited for building river training structures in restrictive locations.
Weirs, check dams and groynes are transversal structures which help controlling water courses flows and protecting banks against erosion. Reinforced Earth® solutions for such works provide construction flexibity, strength and durability.

TerraAnchor™ is used for soil reinforcement applications. It is used for permanent and temporary stabilization of existing slopes and structures by using high tensile galvanized steel rods as soil reinforcement for permanent applications, or galvanized steel strands for temporary applications. Terre Armée provides a range of anchor load capacity selections that reach up 15-tons, and driven to variable depths.
Terre Armée and subsidiary companies offer TerraNail™, for installing passive soil and rock anchoring and stabilization systems. This solution is widely specified by geotechincal engineers for builders and earthworkers to install adequate measures to ensure stability and take control of embankment soil and rock displacement, foundation instability, mass erosion, and retention facing displacements.
Under the umbrella of TerraTextile™, our woven geotextile solutions address construction challenges associated with soft and poorly draining soils. The solution provides long term separation, filtration and hydrostatic pressure control that in turn constricts potential surface and subgrade deformations.
