Reinforced Earth® MSE wall solution

Terre Armee developed Reinforced Earth® more than 50 years ago. This innovative solution has revolutionized the way retaining walls are designed today. We offer a high-performance and durable solution that is rapid and predictable to install. Reinforced Earth® consists of engineered backfill that is reinforced with a choice of engineered elements, normally geosynthetics or steel. These soil reinforcements are connected to any one of a wide choice of facing elements including concrete panels, steel panels, or wire mesh.

TerraLink™ shored MSE wall solution

Shored MSE allows for the construction of retaining walls in geometrically narrow sites. Installation is carried out in front of a stable, existing structure such as a stabilized slope or retaining wall. In such cases when the space required for typical MSE reinforcements and backfill is not attainable, the TerraLink™ wall therefore involves connecting the shored MSE mass to the existing structure through a choice of soil reinforcements.

T-Wall® precast modular wall solution

T-Wall®, as its name suggests is a “T” shaped gravity-type retaining wall that is built by assembling modular precast concrete units associated with granular backfill. The perpendicular stems allow for internal stability, providing pullout resistance against the lateral earth pressures exerted on the back of the facing.

TechWall™ precast counterfort wall solution

TechWall™ is a precast retaining wall system that presents the design advantages of counterforts acting as cantilever beams resisting lateral earth pressure. Because the counterforts are optimally reinforced, the moments in the facing panel are minimized and a relatively thin, full-height concrete facing panel may be used.
