MOROCCO - Reinforced Earth® to replace level crossings

The ONCF, the railways transportation department of the Kingdom of Morocco, has launched a major scheme of railways overpasses to replace the level crossings which are a source of serious accidents.

In Settat, 80 kms south of the capital city Casablanca, the Moroccan company SMATRI is building a concrete bridge instead of a level crossings.

Terre Armée Maroc was awarded the design, supply & technical assistance of 5,800m² of Reinforced Earth® walls for two 10m high Reinforced Earth® ramp walls. These ramps will be made with T-shape panels and GeoStrap 5 HA strips.

This is the 5th structure of this kind awarded to Terre Armée Maroc. The project will be completed by the end of this Summer.
